StackState Self-hosted v4.5.x

This page describes StackState v4.5.x. The StackState 4.5 version range is End of Life (EOL) and no longer supported. We encourage customers still running the 4.5 version range to upgrade to a more recent release.

Installation instructions

Kubernetes

Install StackState on Kubernetes.

Linux

Install StackState on Linux.

OpenShift

Install StackState on OpenShift.

Address and port

Kubernetes

To access the StackState UI:

1. Enable a port-forward.

2. Access the StackState UI at: https://localhost:8080

Linux

The StackState UI can be accessed using the STACKSTATE_BASE_URL specified during installation:

https://STACKSTATE_BASE_URL:7070

OpenShift

To access the StackState UI:

1. Enable a port-forward.

2. Access the StackState UI at: https://localhost:8080

Default username and password

Kubernetes

StackState is configured by default with the following administrator account:

• username: admin

• password: Set during installation. This is collected by the generate_values.sh script and stored in MD5 hash format in values.yaml

Linux

StackState is configured by default with the following administrator account:

• username: admin

• password: topology-telemetry-time

OpenShift

StackState is configured by default with the following administrator account:

• username: admin

• password: Set during installation. This is collected by the generate_values.sh script and stored in MD5 hash format in values.yaml
